Name: Jesse Bruce Pinkman
Door: Door pass: Submissive

Canon: Breaking Bad
Canon Point: 5.16 Felina, last episode

Age: 25
Appearance:

History: LINK
Personality: Jesse has scars but no wrinkles. He has night terrors, not dreams. He's a little emotionally stunted and still not yet desensitized towards the terrible things he's lived through. He's still a big kid-- bad grammar, wears too big of clothes, doesn't really understand what the deal with opossums is). Jesse can't even call his partner by his first name, it's always "Mr. White." (Which isn't to say he respects authority. Cops, people who think they're in charge, parents-- they can all go straight to hell).

He likes to draw. A lot of his drawings are self-insert superheroes. When they aren't that sort of thing, they're caricatures of people. He could probably do serious art but doesn't apply himself. He likes comic books and superhero movies.

Likes girls with dark hair. Actually, likes all girls, but it's the dark ones that catch his eye.

Likes bright colors, red and yellow. He used to dress a lot more colorful now. Dressing isn't a big deal anymore. A lot of his clothes are grays and blacks, anything that's clean.

Likes kids, is a big kid himself. He enjoys shit like yo-yo tricks and magic and video games.

Unsurprisingly, has an un-diagnosed major depression disorder. Used to combat this with smoking meth. Mostly now just smokes weed and takes a lot of Xanax just to go to sleep.

There's also a possibility of Stockholm Syndrome, relating to his relationship with Walter. Walter is basically keeping Jesse captive in this meth game. He can't get out and he also feels the need to protect Walter as Walter has "protected" him.

With the depression and the dire situation of his job-- Jesse is desperate. He has nothing to lose.

Stemming from his parent's abandonment when he needed them most-- hello, drug problems, Jesse just wants to love and be loved. His aunt, who accepted him despite this, died after a battle with cancer. His first serious girlfriend died of a drug overdose that he believes he helped her in. His friends get killed pretty often. He's grasping onto people and they die-- it's like the Midas Touch.

Walter may be the brains and thinks Jesse is the brawn-- but he is the heart of it all. Jesse wants to make money and have a lifestyle that goes with it... he just didn't realize what it took to get him there. He'd like to go about the whole thing without killing anyone, without selling to kids, without any complications. Unfortunately, that doesn't work out for him. He tries, he tries. A few examples of Jesse's heart would be the time that he was sent to "make an example" out of some drug dealers that stole from him... instead of killing them, he found himself babysitting for the poor dirty kid. Another tiny example was the time Jesse was waiting on Skinny Pete and spotted a bug. He let the bug crawl over his hands as he smiled at it-- only for it to be squished by Skinny Pete. Jesse values life, even if it is just a bug. It's not just a bug. It's not just a kid.

He's much more frail than he appears. He puffs his chest up to appear to be a big ol' blowfish but really? He's a sweet baby bird. Evidence of this is how many times Jesse has been beat very nearly to death. If Jesse was made out of papier-mâché, little kids would be scooping up candy from his remains by now. ("For what it's worth, getting the shit kicked out of you? Not to say you get used to it, but you do kinda get used to it.")

Despite all his heart and love, Jesse has accepted that the things he's done is wrong. He accepts it, he owns up to it, and most of all, he hates himself for it. He's managed to make it through all that shit and still be a human (where Walter has just become more and more of a monster, damn near waltzing away from his humanity).

Jesse: You either run from things, or you face them, Mr. White.
Walter: And what exactly does that mean?
Jesse: I learned it in rehab. It's all about accepting who you really are. I accept who I am.
Walter: And who are you?
Jesse: I'm the bad guy.

That's just Jesse deep down, all sweet and fragile. He's afraid of this, afraid it will get him killed. He's a blowfish. He can't help but get the last word in. Can't help but call you a bitch, can't help but just be plain nasty at you. He wants to appear to be smart, loved, and cool. But he doesn't really believe those things. Jesse has a low self-esteem. Something about him makes people want to punch him in the face, tell him he's an idiot, and throw him aside. He feels like he's no one, nothing, and completely alone. He's gotten to a point in his life where he doesn't even know what he's doing anymore, nothing has a point (which goes back to the whole depression issue).

Jesse has done what he had to do to survive, since meeting Walter. At this time in his life: his clothes fit, he’s off meth, he’s numb (comfortably so) and he’s looking out for himself.

Powers and Abilities: Can make meth that's damn near perfect.
Inventory: Clothes, bottle of Xanax, pack of cigs with one joint stashed inside the case.

Samples: about 3 here
